David Cobb is a native of Los Angeles, California. He currently serves as an Associate Pastor at New Life Church in Fairfield, California and attends Fuller Theological Seminary. Ordained in 1985, David has been singing, teaching and preaching both nationally and internationally for over 15 years.

As a recording artist, David has enjoyed success with two previous solo releases entitled, “Close To You” (1992) and “David Cobb” (1996). His latest release “To You” (2000), is receiving great reviews worldwide. David has also recorded for Maranatha! Music on the Promise Keepers releases, “Making Of A Godly Man”, “Stand In The Gap”, “Live A Legacy”, “Choose This Day”, “Go The Distance”, “Turn The Tide” and most recently “Storm The Gates”. You can also find David’s voice on many other projects. He is an accomplished studio singer and has worked with many artists and producers.

  As a worship leader, David is one of the most sought after worship leaders in the country. He currently leads worship with the Maranatha! Promise Band for the Promise Keepers events. He has also been a worship leader for Dennis Rainey’s Family Life, I Still Do conferences. David has worked extensively with Tommy Walker, Morris Chapman, and Ron Kenoly with Worship Evangelism. He has led worship together with Fred Hammond, Darlene Zschech, Paul Baloche and Joseph Garlington. David teaches worship leader workshops for Maranatha! Music as well as personalized training for various ministries. He has taught at many regional churches and has travel to South Korea, Jamaica, Japan and Russia to train worship leaders worldwide.

  David offers a diverse style that covers the entire spectrum of musical forms. He has the extraordinary ability to combine as a well as distinguish these various styles through his songwriting, arrangements, productions and performances.
